Birdies make'eth the Master's winner.
Patrick Reed held a 3 stroke lead entering the final round of the Masters and was able to hold steady; capturing his first major tournament win after 5 starts. A feat not done since Jack Nickalus in 1963.
The stats tell the story, as he putted for 22 Birdies and 2 eagles which enabled him to outlast a competitive field on Sunday. A group of hot golfers chased him that included Jordan Spieth, shooting 64, and Rickie Fowler's 67 to keep it close.
Patrick Reed becomes the 4th straight first-time major winner at the Masters!
